Excitement, Thankfulness and Back to Work!

The last month has been a whirlwind.  We returned from Texas with 19 dogs.  We worked hard at getting our new space ready to open for our “rescue business” and we now look ahead to continuing our work of rescue.

Our new Good Karma Headquarters is everything we dreamed of and more.  Our space will be used for many things to help us run smoother while we work to save dogs.  It is a meeting space for our board and volunteers.  It is a space for our volunteers to attend trainings that Good Karma offers.  It has a great space for holding our intakes when we bring new dogs into rescue.  We have a fantastic storage area where all our supplies can be in one place. We also have our own “Tiny Bubbles” grooming area. We still have more things we need to do, but we are getting there.  Here are some pictures from our Housewarming last weekend:

This all has made us very Thankful.  If it wasn’t for us being at the right place at the right time, none of this would have happened. Without the kindness and donations of others….none of this would exist.

Now we move on to the business of rescue.  A travel team is leaving to go back to Texas this week and we will be bringing back many new dogs.  Dogs that faced euthanasia until we stepped forward.  There are so many in need and we don’t want to say no.  We cannot do it without your support.  Please consider being in our 20/20 Squad.  We can then continue saying yes to these dogs in need.

The 20/20 Squad:

*You commit to making a $20 monthly donation on the 20th of each month

*We commit to carrying out our vision, using your donation to save the dogs who need us most

*You’ll get a special update every month with an inside look at our rescue efforts and your dollars at work
